Horst (left) and Deepani (right) are the plantation owners. The plantation exists since 1910 but was abandoned for many years; Horst and Deepani are trying to give it new life since 2003

The plantation is located on a mountain with gorgeous views into the surrounding mountain ranges, covered with jungle. Ahead the mountain range which contains Sri Lanka's most famous and holy mountain: Sri Pada (Adam's peak) which is the target of pilgrimage throughout Dec to April.
